Aerospace Propulsion Products BV (APP) is specialized in the development and production of igniters and gas generators. Our core business is the ignition of space launchers and we supply igniters for the Ariane 6 and Vega rockets. The igniters are based on pyrotechnic technology, glow plug ignition or laser ignition. Our gas generators are used for launcher applications (e.g. Ariane 6 turbine pump starter) but we also develop gas generators for other purposes such as parachute deployment devices. We have state-of-the-art production and test facilities supporting our engineering and production activities. These facilities are dedicated to working with energetic materials and gas feed systems.
