Nelen & Schuurmans provides the Lizard platform, a fast and scalable delivery platform for spatio-temporal information. Lizard is used to provide operational services in a wide array of domains like agriculture and food security, water management and climate adaptation. For example, in the Mekong Delta in Vietnam, Lizard provides an application for real-time rice growth monitoring based on multi-sensor satellite images, field measurements and advanced modelling. The backend of the Lizard platform provides a web API that makes it easy for parties to build custom applications. The frontend provides an optimized viewer with powerful spatio-temporal analysis tools.
