Netherlands Space Agency

The Netherlands Space Agency is the space agency of the national government. We provide objective direction for the Netherlands’ space ambitions by bringing together policy, innovation, and application. We coordinate the implementation of national space policy, advise on new policy developments, and represent the Netherlands in international collaborations. Additionally, we support businesses and research institutions in strengthening their international position and encourage innovation that contributes to solutions for national and global challenges. We translate complex developments into clear decisions and concrete advice, based on expertise and careful consideration. Space offers significant opportunities for the Netherlands. We stimulate initiatives and create synergies between various parties, ensuring that knowledge and capabilities make the greatest possible contribution to our society. We position the Netherlands as a reliable partner in international cooperation, both within Europe and beyond. Our approach to space is clear: it is a strategic public service of vital importance for a resilient and prosperous society. This is why we connect societal challenges to the opportunities space provides and guide the development of knowledge, capabilities, and collaboration.
